Literature Text

Shall you always be there waiting for me
Now that you know my horrifying truths?
Quite has been hidden from what you can see,
But what has come out is far more soothing.
All this bitter taste of sand that I live
With. This sour lemon you are forced on.
Over this inaeternum wall you strive,
So why is it you do not turn and run?
Still you stand scrupulous at this dead plot.
Your eyes have not deterred away from mine.
And all I've overcome is all you sought.
To make all our pain even more divine.
You stay true to a liar's dialect
And continue to view me with respect.
This is one of my very few love poems. I try to stay away from tacky and sappy love type stuff but I could not help myself with this one.
